Founded by Douglas Burgos-Madrid, the venue pairs a counter-service eatery with a small bodega corner stocked with imported Latin American pantry goods. The interior is straightforward and unpretentious, lined with casual tables and counter seating geared toward quick lunches, takeaway runs, and easy weeknight dinners.

Migente Cocina Menu & What to Order The menu stands out for its coastal Ecuadorian "Guaya" street food alongside homestyle Colombian and Mexican plates. Start with the house empanadas—available in both flaky wheat-flour Ecuadorian shells and crispy Colombian cornmeal crusts—dipped in zesty ají. For mains, do not miss the hornado (slow-roasted pork served with pickled red onions on a soft bun), the fragrant seco de pollo, or the hearty Arroz con Menestra y Carne loaded with seasoned beans and fried plantains. Wash everything down with fresh-squeezed fruit juice or an imported Colombian soda.
