What is Mayil Coffee? Mayil Coffee, situated at 870 College Street in Toronto's Little Italy, is an independent South Indian cafe offering a distinctive coffee experience in a welcoming atmosphere. Opened in late 2024 by Neha Rohatgi and Amal Kashyap, this passion project aims to bring the rich traditions of South Indian filter coffee to the city. The interior features hand-painted art and textures that evoke a sense of India, providing a cozy and intimate space, often with a patio for patrons to enjoy.

Mayil Coffee Menu & What to Order At Mayil Coffee, the star attraction is undoubtedly the Madras Filter Kaapi, a robust, chicory-infused South Indian coffee that's a must-try. Beyond this signature brew, popular choices include the refreshing Iced Kaapi, the comforting Turmeric Latte, and the fragrant Rose Milk. For food, their Masala Dosa and fluffy Idli Sambhar are excellent savoury options, while the Veg Puff and Date Walnut Cake offer delightful sweet and savoury snacks.
