First-timers: go before noon for bread and a sandwich; stay later if pizza is the point. It is not a pastry salon and it is not a downtown line. Pre-order if you need a tray or a specific loaf; walk in if you can be flexible. Dupont west of Dundas is a neighbourhood stop — budget for street parking, not a PATH stroll. This is the west-end Italian bakery that is still a shop, not a restaurant wearing an apron.
