Masala Boys

What is Masala Boys? Operating out of a quiet commercial stretch along Slan Avenue in central Scarborough, Masala Boys is a specialized culinary operation focused on South Indian and Sri Lankan takeout, party trays, and event catering. Renowned across the eastern GTA for their mobile live-dosa stations at weddings and community gatherings, their Scarborough kitchen prepares freshly griddled dosas, aromatic curries, and savory short eats for pickup and catered functions.

Masala Boys Menu & What to Order Crisp fermented crepes made to order form the backbone of the kitchen's takeout menu. The standout selection is the Chettinad Masala Boys Special Dosai, a paper-thin crepe rolled with spicy shredded chicken or tender braised mutton and served with coconut chutney and piping sambar. Vegetarian options like the Onion Chili Masala Dosa and the thick, spongy Masala Uttappam pack hearty heat with tempered mustard seeds and green chilies. For a rich handheld snack on the go, pick up a box of flaky Butter Chicken Patties or order a batch of freshly chopped Mutton Kothu Roti.

Know Before You Go Masala Boys is primarily a production and pickup hub rather than a traditional sit-down dining room. Calling ahead or ordering online before arriving ensures your dosas and hot items are ready fresh from the griddle without delay. Ample surface parking is available in the private commercial lot on Slan Avenue, just south of Ellesmere Road.
