Manita

What is Manita? Occupying a prominent corner at 210 Ossington Avenue and Rolyat Street, Manita is an all-day Mediterranean bistro, grocery, and bar created by Ian McGrenaghan, Colin Tooke, and Sam Lipson. The light-filled room pairs rustic wood-plank floors and warm hanging fixtures with marble-topped cafe tables, counter seating, and an expansive sidewalk patio ideal for Ossington people-watching.

Manita Menu & What to Order The kitchen delivers unfussy European-inspired comfort dishes from early morning through late evening. The undisputed hero is the Manita Burger—a juicy ground beef and bacon patty layered with American cheese, pickles, and remoulade—alongside the herb-rich Mediterranean Plate served with house-made dips, a soft-boiled egg, and charred Blackbird Bakery bread. Vegetarians are well cared for with the maitake mushroom burger and falafel plate, while natural European wines and a slice of house carrot cake complete the meal.

Know Before You Go Reservations are available via Resy for lunch and dinner, but prime weekend brunch is largely first-come, first-served with steady sidewalk queues. Street parking is exceptionally tight along Ossington, making the 501 Queen or 505 Dundas streetcars the most hassle-free transit options.
