Anchoring Dundas Street West just west of Dufferin in Little Portugal, Lula Lounge has been Toronto’s premier temple for live salsa, Latin jazz, and global rhythms for more than two decades. Housed in a historic former theatre space, the multi-level room features elevated dining tiers framing a dedicated hardwood dance floor, two full-service bars, and a glass-enclosed front Havana Lounge. Dim red lighting, cocktail tables, and sweeping sightlines to the main stage give the entire venue the kinetic energy of an authentic old-school supper club.

Lula Lounge Menu & What to Order On weekends, the kitchen delivers a Latin-inspired three-course prix-fixe engineered to fuel a full night on the dance floor. Start with the flaky beef empanadas paired with house chimichurri or the citrus-charged ceviche mixto loaded with tiger shrimp, octopus, and rocoto pepper tiger’s milk. For the main course, the slow-roasted halal pollo al horno alongside Lula’s signature chaufa rice and ají verde is an absolute standout, while the fork-tender braised beef cheek asado delivers serious richness. Pair dinner with one of the bar's signature freshly muddled Cuban mojitos before the tables turn over for the live sets.

Know Before You Go Friday and Saturday table seating is strictly reserved for guests booking the three-course dinner-and-show package, which includes the 9:00 p.m. beginner dance lesson and the 10:00 p.m. live salsa orchestra set. Walk-in dance-only tickets are available after 9:30 p.m., but advance purchase is recommended for peak weekend bands. The 505 Dundas streetcar stops right outside the front doors, and street parking is available along Dundas West outside of afternoon rush-hour restrictions.
