What is Little Pebbles? Located at 240 Augusta Avenue in Kensington Market, Little Pebbles expanded its patisserie roots by taking over the former Nu Bügel bakery and its legacy wood-burning oven. Founded by baker Dada Ahn, this casual counter-service shop combines rustic brick walls, cozy indoor café seating, and sunny sidewalk perches. It offers an inventive local mashup where Montreal-style wood-fired bagel culture meets Tokyo-inspired pastry craft.

Little Pebbles Menu & What to Order Freshly hand-rolled bagels are boiled, seeded, and crisped over wood fire alongside intricately laminated viennoiserie and delicate confections. Order a sesame bagel loaded with smoked salmon and jalapeño cream cheese, then grab a flaky Raspberry Matcha Croissant or a wedge of creamy Basque burnt cheesecake. Beverage pairings spotlight ceremonial-grade Uji matcha and locally roasted espresso, led by the fan-favourite Black Sesame Latte and Matcha Tiramisu Latte.

Know Before You Go Service is strictly counter-order walk-in, with weekend midmornings generating brisk queues along Augusta. Kensington street parking is exceedingly tight—and Augusta is closed to vehicles on Pedestrian Sundays—so take the 510 Spadina or 506 Carlton streetcar instead.
