Founded by Stephen Schweighardt and named in honour of his grandfather, the cafe blends exposed brick and vintage lighting with comfortable wooden seating and front-counter warmth. It operates as an unfussy, sunlit west-end clubhouse where locals gather for fresh roasts, casual laptop work, and easy conversation.

Larry's Place Menu & What to Order Coffee is micro-roasted by Schweighardt himself in Prince Edward County, yielding rich, cocoa-forward notes in standout flat whites, cortados, and balanced cold brew. The counter's crowning glory is the house-baked butter tart, featuring a thick, flaky pastry crust cradling a gooey, caramelized centre that ranks among the city's finest. For flavoured sips, the subtly sweet Maple Latte laced with cinnamon shines, alongside dairy-free oat milk substitutions and a zesty, fresh-squeezed Honey Lemon Ginger brew.
