What is Kebab &? Located on O'Connor Drive in East York, Kebab & (also known as Kebab & Co) is a standalone establishment that brings authentic Northern Afghan cuisine to Toronto. Co-owned by experienced restaurateurs Naeem Nazari and his brother, the space, previously Suma's Egyptian Grill, is a small, colourful dining room adorned with brown furniture and brightly coloured tapestries, offering a warm and unpretentious setting.

Kebab & Menu & What to Order The menu here is a deep dive into Afghan flavours, particularly excelling in grilled meats and traditional rice dishes. The Kunjid Palaw with Lamb Shank, a Qabili Uzbeki specialty featuring basmati rice, sesame oil, lamb shank, carrots, and raisins, is a standout and often praised. Don't miss the Kebab Wraps Platter or the heart-shaped Kebab Lovers Platter for sharing, loaded with beef, lamb shaami, and chicken tikka. Individual skewers like the Chicken Breast Duo and the Waziri Kebab also shine. Finish your meal with their distinctive Jaggery Black Tea or a refreshing Dogh, a traditional yogurt drink. Everything on the menu is Halal.

Know Before You Go Kebab & operates on a walk-in basis, so plan accordingly, especially on weekends when the dining room fills up quickly. Weekdays are generally more relaxed. Located near O'Connor and St. Clair, it's accessible by both transit and car, with street parking typically available in the vicinity. The restaurant is open daily from 12:15 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.
