Kajiken at 4850 Yonge Street is the first Canadian shop of the Nagoya abura soba chain, on the Yonge and Sheppard corner in North York. This page is that room. [Kajiken Queen West](/places/kajiken-queen-west) at 214 Queen Street West is a second Toronto shop of the same brand — not where you sit here, and not open yet.
Abura soba is soupless ramen: homemade noodles, a house sauce, and toppings instead of broth. Named bowls on [kajiken.ca](https://kajiken.ca/) are Nikumori Aburasoba (minced pork, pork belly, green onion, egg yolk, shredded red pepper), Roast Beef Aburasoba (roast beef, onion sauce, yogurt, green onion, fried onion, egg yolk), and Homura Aburasoba (minced pork, nori, bamboo shoots, green onion, chives, niboshi, egg yolk). Full menu JPGs: [kajiken.ca/menu](https://kajiken.ca/menu/). The brand’s California shop is listed in the Michelin Guide; this North York room is not.
Phone (416) 221-8880 and kajikenramen@gmail.com are for this Yonge and Sheppard shop only. Official hours from [kajiken.ca/location](https://kajiken.ca/location/) — more complete than the site footer, which drops Sunday — are Sunday–Thursday 11:30 a.m.–10:30 p.m. and Friday–Saturday 11:30 a.m.–11:30 p.m. Instagram [@kajikencanada](https://www.instagram.com/kajikencanada/). Opened October 2025.
