JOS is the midtown Black-owned braiding and protective-style studio: 2481A Yonge Street, official page says open Tuesday–Sunday. jos-studios.com is knotless and box braids, goddess and boho, feed-ins, Fulani, cornrows, men’s braids, lace and glueless wig installs, sew-ins, ponytails, and professional takedowns, with premium braiding hair in 1 / 1B / 2. Book online (Vagaro is linked from the site). A daily clock is not on the official page. First-timers: book the braid size and length you actually want, and read the prep FAQ — they will tell you whether to bring hair. Wash is included on hair services in client notes on the same site. This is a protective-style studio, not a blow-dry bar. Yonge south of Eglinton, not a plaza booth.
