Jongro Korean BBQ

April 16, 2026
Jongro Korean BBQ Buffet is a newly established dining destination located at the busy intersection of Yonge and Bloor. Occupying a space formerly home to a Korean Grill House, this restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ and buffet experience. It is designed to be highly accessible, situated just steps away from Bloor-Yonge subway station, making it a convenient spot for groups looking to enjoy a variety of grilled meats and traditional Korean sides in the heart of downtown.
For a first visit, expect a two-hour time limit for the full dinner service, which features an expanded menu including items like kalbi, beef tongue, aged pork butt, and king oyster mushrooms. Lunch service offers a more pared-down selection of meats alongside access to the buffet and salad bar, which includes soups, fried rice, bulgogi, dumplings, and various baked goods. Orders for the barbecue are placed through the waitstaff rather than via the digital menu. Note that there is a $5 charge for excessive food waste, so it is recommended to order only what you can finish. The restaurant also serves an alcohol menu featuring soju, beer, and makgulli.
