Green Box

What is Green Box? Occupying ground-level space inside the revitalized Berczy Square complex at 33 Yonge Street, Green Box is a weekday fixture for downtown professionals seeking fast, nutritious fuel. The counter-service shop features an airy, clean aesthetic with swift grab-and-go lines, while the surrounding atrium and outdoor plaza offer versatile casual seating for on-site dining.

Green Box Menu & What to Order The kitchen turns out hefty salads, warm pressed sandwiches on artisanal panini bread, and wholesome grain bowls made with whole food ingredients. Standouts include the slow-cooked Braised Beef Brisket Sandwich with tangy slaw and provolone, alongside the Grilled Salmon Salad tossed with quinoa, edamame, and coconut ranch. Plant-based diners have substantial options with the crispy Tofu BLT and roasted vegetable sandwich, rounded out nicely with house-pressed cold juices.

Know Before You Go This is strictly a walk-in and takeout counter without table service or table reservations. The midday rush peaks between 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on weekdays, though mobile pickup orders via Ritual or delivery apps bypass the line. Located just north of Front Street steps from Union and King subway stations, the shop operates Monday through Friday and closes on weekends.
