Good Bite Restaurant

What is Good Bite Restaurant? Anchored along Yonge Street just north of Eglinton since 1969, Good Bite Restaurant is one of North Toronto’s most enduring Greek-Canadian greasy spoons. The compact space preserves a mid-century diner feel with vintage laminate booths, classic swivel stools along the counter, and warm, daylight-flooded windows. Operated by the same family for decades, it serves as a straightforward, comforting haven for neighbourhood regulars and morning early birds.

Good Bite Restaurant Menu & What to Order The griddle executes honest, fast-moving morning classics and comfort plates at remarkably gentle prices. Go for the peameal bacon and eggs paired with heavily seasoned grilled home fries, or order the corned beef hash fried crisp with onions. Midday diners frequently opt for the towering three-decker clubhouse sandwich with a side of house gravy, the old-school beef liver with sauteed onions, or a hearty pork souvlaki platter.

Know Before You Go Good Bite operates strictly on a walk-in policy, so expect full booths and a lively turnover during peak weekend brunch rushes. The restaurant focuses on breakfast and lunch service, wrapping up mid-afternoon daily. Located a short walk north of Eglinton subway station on Line 1, it is easily reachable via transit, with metered street parking available along Yonge Street.
