Gelateo Cafe

What is Gelateo Cafe? Perched on the bustling Danforth Avenue in Riverdale, Gelateo Cafe offers a warm, inviting escape with its Italian café and gelateria concept. It's a cozy corner spot, designed as a welcoming space for relaxation, serving up homemade gelato alongside freshly brewed coffee and classic Italian pastries.

Gelateo Cafe Menu & What to Order Expect a delightful array of homemade gelato flavours like 'Black Sesame Symphony', 'Madagascar Vanilla Mania', and the unique 'Strawberry and Basil', all churned in-house. Beyond the frozen delights, the 'Handmade Italian Cannoli', with gelato-filled options, are a must-try, as are their 'Italian Espresso' and robust 'Colombian Coffee'. For something savoury, their homemade sandwiches and salads provide lighter, healthier options that still resonate with quality Italian influences.

Know Before You Go Gelateo Cafe operates on a walk-in-only basis, so plan accordingly, though the cozy setting rarely feels overwhelmingly busy. You'll find them open from 9 am daily, closing at 8 pm Sunday through Thursday, and extending to 9:30 pm on Friday and Saturday. It's easily accessible via the Bloor-Danforth subway line, with street parking available but often competitive.
