What is Foxley? Anchoring 207 Ossington Avenue since 2007, Foxley is chef-owner Tom Thai’s enduring Pan-Asian bistro that helped shape the street long before the strip became saturated with trends. The compact interior is dim, narrow, and unpretentious, featuring wooden bistro tables and a tight bar that looks out onto the street. Out back, a leafy, vine-covered patio offers one of the neighbourhood's most tranquil evening dining settings.

Foxley Menu & What to Order Thai’s sharing-plate menu is built around razor-sharp raw seafood, bright acid, and deeply caramelized glazes. The signature Arctic char ceviche is an essential starter, cut to order and tossed with crisp green apple, pickled ginger, and chili-miso paste, followed by the crisp-bottomed lamb and duck prosciutto dumplings and the spicy crispy shrimp. For heavier plates, the sticky pork side ribs with caramelized shallot glaze and braised beef cheek in red curry shine alongside a carafe of sake or a dry riesling. Vegetarians can build a substantial spread out of the yuzu-miso baked eggplant, papaya salad, and sautéed greens.

Know Before You Go Dinner reservations are available through Resy, though walk-ins can often catch a table or bar stool if arriving right around the 5:00 p.m. opening. Patio seating is reserved specifically for full dinner service and operates weather permitting, with limited indoor backup capacity during rain. Ossington street parking is tight on peak weekend nights, making the 63 Ossington bus or the 501 Queen streetcar the easiest way to arrive.
