Start with the house chicken wings, poached in a long-simmering master stock before being crisped and tossed in fragrant chili oil. The cheese fried rice—loaded with aged cheddar, egg, and double-smoked bacon—is a legendary comfort dish, while the handmade pan-fried pork dumplings and honey-chili duck tongues make ideal table snacks alongside a pint of local craft beer or a neat bourbon.

Know Before You Go Seating is strictly walk-in only, and the cozy room fills up fast with neighborhood regulars on Friday and Saturday nights. The kitchen serves its full food menu seven nights a week right until 2:00 a.m., making it a top late-night sanctuary in the west end. Street parking is scattered along Queen Street West, but taking the 501 Queen streetcar is the most convenient way to arrive.
