Designed in collaboration with Emil Teleki, the 660-square-foot space pairs brushed steel and smooth stone with warm, muted tones, strictly eschewing customer Wi-Fi to foster offline neighbourhood conversation. Seating spans a communal interior layout alongside a sun-drenched sidewalk patio right along Queen East.

Espro Menu & What to Order Immersion brewing is the star here, utilizing Espro's patented dual-filter P7 presses to yield grit-free cups from rotating roasters like La Cabra and Onyx Coffee Lab. Espresso-based orders—from flat whites to iced lattes—are pulled via sleek under-counter Modbar systems, alongside signature iced drinks like the citrusy Espro Tonic. On the food side, order the Danish-inspired Espro Bun (a warm, buttery roll topped with cheese) or grab fresh daily baked goods sourced from local Toronto bakeries.

Know Before You Go Espro operates entirely on walk-ins, with peak morning rushes bringing steady crowds of local dog-walkers and beachgoers heading towards the boardwalk. The 501 Queen streetcar stops right outside, and metered street parking is scattered along Queen Street East and neighbouring side avenues. The coffee bar is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
