El Sazon de LA Tia Flor

What is El Sazon de LA Tia Flor? Perched unassuming on O'Connor Drive in East York, El Sazon de LA Tia Flor is a casual, family-run taqueria that delivers authentic Mexican comfort food without pretense. It’s a perpetually lively spot, often packed with diners and bustling with takeout orders, offering a cozy, no-frills setting perfect for a quick, delicious bite with friends or family, including the furry ones, as it's pet-friendly.

El Sazon de LA Tia Flor Menu & What to Order The menu champions the taco, with options like the rich, slow-cooked 'Birria tacos' (essential with a side of consome for dipping), succulent 'Carnitas tacos', and the marinated 'Al Pastor tacos' stealing the show. Vegetarians will appreciate the hearty 'Mushroom tacos', and for a truly comforting plate, the 'Chicken chilaquiles' are a must-try. Don't leave without a slice of their airy 'Tres Leches cake' and a refreshing 'Horchata'.

Know Before You Go While reservations are accepted and recommended if you prefer a guaranteed spot, walk-ins are always welcomed in this high-energy space, particularly on dollar taco days when it fills up fast. Curbside pickup is a convenient option, and given its O'Connor Drive location, street parking is generally available. They are closed on Thursdays, so plan your visit for any other day between noon and 7 p.m. to experience their vibrant flavours.
