Since 1999, Easy Restaurant has been Parkdale’s TexMex brunch north star—free-range eggs, locally sourced proteins, Ontario maple syrup, and a long list of gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options without feeling like a compromise menu. The room is warm and unpretentious; weekend sittings run on a 90-minute turn, and tables of six or more see an automatic 20% gratuity. Start with Huevos Divorciados (sunny eggs on corn tortillas with red and green salsa, black beans, guacamole, and ancho jam) or the Mexican Benedict with chorizo and jalapeños. It is the opposite of a downtown brunch theatre—neighbourhood, consistent, and still worth the Queen West trek.
