Situated along Dundas Street West on the border of Chinatown and Kensington Market, Dumpling & More (味多多) is an unassuming counter-service spot that prioritizes handmade dough over dining room frills. The compact room is strictly utilitarian, fitted with laminate tables, bare walls, and functional lighting tailored for fast casual dining. There is no patio or cocktail bar—just an honest, informal dining room where nearby students and locals pull up chairs for fast, steaming plates.

Dumpling & More Menu & What to Order The kitchen specializes in Northern Chinese comfort classics, highlighted by lacy, skirted pan-fried dumplings stuffed with savoury pork and chives, beef and onions, or cabbage and mushroom. A standout order is the pork and Chinese sauerkraut steamed dumplings, offering a sour, fermented tang that cuts cleanly through rich ground pork. Beyond the dumplings, the menu features blistered sheng jian bao, street-style grilled cold noodles (kao leng mian) brushed with chili sauce, and build-your-own mala tang bowls loaded with noodles and tofu.

Know Before You Go Seating is strictly walk-in only, and while the space fills quickly during the lunch and dinner rush, table turnover is swift. Dundas West street parking is difficult to come by, making the 505 Dundas or 510 Spadina streetcar your most convenient route. Note that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and does steady takeout business throughout regular operating hours.
