Dou Yin Bar

What is Dou Yin Bar? Tucked inside a commercial strip at 2901 Kennedy Road in Scarborough, Dou Yin Bar (also known as DY Bar) operates as a late-night music lounge and sing-along bar. The interior is outfitted with mood-setting neon lighting, low-slung lounge seating, a full-service bar counter, and a performance setup complete with a dedicated sound system and projector screen. The space accommodates both casual nighttime walk-ins in the main lounge and larger group bookings in a private VIP party room.

Dou Yin Bar Menu & What to Order The menu focuses on social drinks and late-night bar bites tailored for grazing between karaoke and live music sets. Table-friendly staples include salted popcorn chicken, crispy seasoned french fries, and fresh sliced fruit platters designed for group sharing. For drinks, groups typically lean into beer buckets, soju highballs, whisky-and-tea mixes, and specialty cocktails shaken to order.

Know Before You Go Operating strictly on a late-night schedule seven days a week, the room picks up considerable energy after 10:00 p.m. during live acoustic sets and weekend karaoke sessions. Surface parking is ample in the surrounding plaza, and public transit access is straightforward via the 43 Kennedy and 39 Finch East TTC bus lines. Walk-ins are welcomed into the open lounge, but calling ahead is strongly advised if you intend to reserve the private room for a celebration.
