Desi Chaapwala Restaurant

What is Desi Chaapwala Restaurant? Set along Evans Avenue in Alderwood, Desi Chaapwala is an unpretentious spot devoted to the bold, late-night street food culture of Northern India and Delhi. The compact dining room offers casual table seating geared for quick bites, takeout runs, and midnight gatherings over hot tea. It bridges fast-casual convenience with genuine Punjabi hospitality, turning out sizzling tandoori skewers and soul-warming gravies until the early morning hours.

Desi Chaapwala Restaurant Menu & What to Order Soya chaap anchors the operation, textured to absorb deep marinades and tandoor char; the velvety 'Malai Chaap' bathed in spiced cream and the fiery 'Tandoori Chaap' wrapped in flaky 'Chili Laccha Parantha' are essential orders. Indo-Chinese street cravings are answered with smoky 'Tandoori Paneer Momos' and saucy 'Delhi Masala Momos', alongside carb-loaded novelties like the spiced 'Noodle Burger'. Finish with a comforting cup of spiced 'Chai' or a cold 'Mango Lassi' to tame the lingering chili heat.

Know Before You Go Operating daily from 10:00 a.m. straight through to 3:00 a.m., it serves as an indispensable late-night haven in South Etobicoke when most kitchens have long gone dark. While phone reservations are welcome for larger gatherings, walk-ins dominate the floor during peak dinner and late-night post-midnight rushes. Plentiful surface parking along the strip eases quick curbside pickups, and the TTC 15 Evans bus stops just steps away.
