What is Darling Girl? At 44 Wellington Street East in the Flatiron corridor (former Pravda Vodka Bar), Darling Girl is the glossier east-end sister to Jean Darlene, the laneway piano lounge behind Dundas West. Restaurateurs Fadi Hakim and Arie Dimant (The Lakeview, Haifa Room, Jean Darlene), with partners Joseph Eastwood, Mark Kupfert, Mark Holmes, Ryan Kimel, and Josh Marlowe, rebuilt the room from scratch. Herringbone floors, marble, gold finishes, and two grand pianos set the stage. A backup band still anchors the night, then a curtain opens onto choreographed dance, aerial work, and pole dancing on brass rails salvaged from Filmores. This is a niche second room from a small Toronto hospitality group, not a cookie-cutter chain.

Darling Girl Menu & What to Order Unlike Jean Darlene, Darling Girl serves food. A $25 cover includes passed appetizers all night (sliders, spring rolls, prosciutto on toast) so the room feels like a glamorous cocktail party rather than a stand-and-queue bar.
