Da da Noodles

What is Da da Noodles? Set within the retail concourse at 4750 Yonge Street right above Sheppard-Yonge station, Da da Noodles is an unfussy North York counter spot turning out Northern-style Chinese comfort dishes. The dining environment is strictly casual and functional, built for speedy workday lunches and effortless solo dinners rather than drawn-out group banquets. Seating is compact and straightforward, keeping the focus entirely on blistering wok cookery.

Da da Noodles Menu & What to Order High-heat wok work defines the menu, best experienced in the classic Stir Fried Noodles and the saucy, savoury Stir Fried Instant Noodles loaded with greens and aromatics. A true standout is the Stir Fried Shredded Dough With Egg & Pork (chao bing), which pairs chewy ribbons of griddled dough with crisp vegetables and tender pork for remarkable textural contrast. For those craving rice over noodles, the Stir Fried Sliced Pepper Pork & Egg over rice brings home-style punch with just the right hit of pepper heat.

Know Before You Go Plan for quick counter-service walk-ins, as reservations are not part of the model and turnover is naturally rapid. Underground transit access via Sheppard-Yonge makes commuting completely weatherproof, though finding Unit 137 requires a quick scan of the complex interior. Service runs Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., with peak order volumes stacking up during the midday office lunch window.
