What is Compton Ave? Taking over the former Founder space at 1282 Dundas Street West, Compton Ave is mixologist Frankie Solarik's moody, London-inspired cocktail lounge in Little Portugal. The intimate 65-seat room leans into old-world British luxury, wrapped in dark wood paneling, ornate brass chandeliers, flickering candlelight, and framed Victorian oil paintings. Guests can perch along the polished wooden bar to watch the bar team build modernist libations or settle into plush leather banquettes and velvet-lined corners.

Start with roasted bone marrow paired with warm house-made crumpets or the pillowy Parker House rolls slathered in black truffle butter. For larger bites, the cottage pie croquettes stuffed with braised beef cheek and the tender picanha steak Diane are runaway hits, while the fried fish served over crisp potato pavé reimagines standard fish and chips.
