Colonel Samuel Smith Park is the Etobicoke waterfront off-leash: a City-designated OLA on the Lake Ontario shoreline at the foot of Kipling, with GIS placing it (unlit) in the park. Trails, a marina edge, and migrant-bird habitat share the peninsula, so this is a leash-and-release park — off-leash only in the signed OLA, not on every path. A geographic must for the west lakeshore, and a different landscape than Cherry Beach’s Port Lands sand. 3145 Lake Shore Boulevard West is the usual address.
