Chick Queen

What is Chick Queen? Occupying a energetic stretch at 247 Queen Street West near University Avenue, Chick Queen is the downtown outpost of the Dubai-born halal poultry heavyweight. The bright, no-nonsense interior features clean tilework, branded graphics, and high-top counter and booth seating tailored for rapid turnover. It delivers an internationally proven quick-service format right into the heart of the downtown core.

Chick Queen Menu & What to Order The 100% halal-certified menu divides its focus between pressure-fried crunch and marinated flame-grilled chicken, spiked with South Asian and Middle Eastern seasoning. The Royal Crunchy Sandwich is the crowd favourite, packing a thick, jaggedly battered breast fillet between soft buns with zesty mayo, while the bone-in spicy fried chicken packs genuine, lingering heat. Pair your chicken with the masala-dusted tandoori fries and garlic sauce, or grab a CQ Rice Bowl for a lighter alternative to the fried combos.

Know Before You Go Service is strictly counter-based with no reservations, making walk-in waits brief even when lines stretch toward the door during the lunch rush and post-midnight club dismissals. Parking along Queen West is scarce, so taking the 501 Queen streetcar or walking two minutes west from Osgoode Station is the easiest route. The kitchen stays open until at least 11:00 p.m. on weekdays and midnight on weekends.
