Charlottetown Blvd Child

What is Charlottetown Blvd Child? Located at 111 Island Road (Unit 5) in Scarborough's West Rouge neighbourhood, Charlottetown Boulevard Childcare Centre is a licensed, non-profit community facility established in 1985. The complex features bright multi-activity classrooms, a full gymnasium, and three fenced outdoor playgrounds designed for early childhood learning and care. Its certified in-house kitchen and prep area serve structured, balanced meal programs for enrolled toddlers and school-age children.

Charlottetown Blvd Child Menu & What to Order Operating strictly as an educational child-care provider rather than a commercial restaurant, the kitchen provides rotating, dietitian-guided menus aligned with Canada's Food Guide. Enrolled children receive daily hot lunches like whole-grain pasta dishes, balanced lean protein bowls, and freshly steamed vegetables paired with milk and water. Morning and afternoon snack rotations emphasize allergen-safe items, crunchy cut vegetables, and seasonal fresh fruits. Strict dietary modifications, including dairy-free, vegetarian, and halal requests, are accommodated across all daily services.

Know Before You Go This is a private childcare facility requiring pre-registration and scheduled appointments rather than walk-in service. Ample surface parking is available in the Island Road commercial plaza, with convenient connections to the Rouge Hill GO Station and TTC bus routes along Lawrence Avenue East. Programs operate Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
