Cafe N One

What is Cafe N One? Perched on the second floor along Yonge Street just north of Finch, Cafe N One delivers an airy, modern Japanese fusion cafe concept tailored for North York locals and students alike. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the room with daylight, illuminating smooth blonde woodwork, comfortable banquettes, and window counter seats made for people-watching above the streetscape. It seamlessly transitions from a sunny afternoon hangout into an ambient, softly lit evening dining and dessert room.

Cafe N One Menu & What to Order The kitchen folds Japanese flavor profiles into Western cafe staples, yielding savoury hits like the crisp Karaage Croffle and rich Wafu Carbonara Pasta. Beef lovers should hone in on the Beef Saikoro Sirloin Pasta, topped with tender seared cubes of steak, while dessert centers around towering, jiggling Crème Brûlée Souffle Pancakes finished with a caramelized sugar crust. Wash it down with a nutty Black Sesame Latte during the day, or pivot to late-night sips with the citrus-forward Kochi Yuzu cocktail.

Know Before You Go Peak weekend brunch hours often trigger waits on the second-floor landing, so securing a reservation online ahead of time is recommended if you want to skip the queue. Located just a short stroll from Finch subway station, transit is the easiest route, though commercial parking lots dot the surrounding Yonge and Finch corridors. With consistent 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. hours daily, it is just as viable for a midday work session as it is for late-night cravings.
