Bull Dog Coffee

What is Bull Dog Coffee? Tucked onto residential Granby Street just east of Yonge, Bull Dog Coffee is a veteran espresso bar that functions as a spirited downtown clubhouse. Inside, the intimate room balances serious third-wave craft with easygoing comfort, offering counter service, cozy indoor cafe tables, and a seasonal sidewalk patio where neighbours gather.

Bull Dog Coffee Menu & What to Order The drinks program commands attention through technical precision, serving everything from dialed-in traditional Italian espresso to the Blanco Bulldog, a decadent union of white hot chocolate and espresso. For food, the kitchen goes well beyond standard cafe fare: freshly whipped schmear dresses morning bagels, alongside savoury Japanese karaage and decadent stuffed Bulldog waffles filled with options like guava-melt or Nutella crunch. Pair your morning brew with a flaky almond croissant or the chewy Oreo marshmallow brownie for an unapologetic sugar hit.

Know Before You Go Seating is strictly walk-in only, and lines can form quickly during peak mid-morning hours on Saturdays and Sundays. The shop is located a brisk two-minute walk from College subway station, making the TTC significantly easier than hunting for scarce street parking. Keep their schedule in mind: the cafe takes Mondays off, operating Tuesday through Saturday until 5:00 p.m. with an earlier 3:00 p.m. close on Sundays.
