BOBO is the Cityplace independent that still reads like a neighbourhood shop: 62 Fort York Boulevard, everyday noon–11 p.m., phone (416) 342-0065, email boboteaandjuice@gmail.com, all on boboteaandjuice.com. Official menu families are milk tea, house specials, smoothies from whole fruit, slushies, milkshakes, ice crush, and a topping list — customizable, not a three-SKU brown-sugar clone. The corgi-shop energy is the room; the drink is the reason to go. First-timers: a fruit smoothie or slush if you want the fresh-fruit pitch; a classic milk tea with tapioca if you came for boba. No reservations. Noon open means this is not a breakfast stop. Fort York at Cityplace is easier than a Yonge line if you already live west of University. Long Branch is the Etobicoke sister.
