Biryani Spot

What is Biryani Spot? Anchored in a commercial strip along Progress Avenue in Dorset Park, Biryani Spot delivers unpretentious, spice-forward Hyderabadi cooking to Scarborough. The compact dining room keeps the setup utilitarian and casual, trading elaborate decor for welcoming hospitality and a steady turnover of dine-in eaters and delivery couriers. It functions as an essential, down-to-earth neighbourhood room built for quick solo lunches or easygoing group dinners.

Biryani Spot Menu & What to Order The kitchen centres on fragrant, long-grain basmati layered with marinated meats and robust aromatics, where the Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani and tender Mutton Dum Biryani set a solid foundation. For bolder textures, the Chicken 65 Biryani blankets crisp, deep-fried chicken tossed in spiced yogurt over seasoned rice, while the Biryani Spot Special Nalli Biryani delivers rich, marrow-infused depth. Factor in a bowl of slow-simmered Mutton Haleem or a starter of spicy Chicken 999 to round out a completely halal, intensely seasoned feast.

Know Before You Go Seating is strictly walk-in, and while weekend evenings get brisk, turnover remains relatively fast. Plentiful surface parking in the plaza makes arrivals off Midland Avenue painless, complete with designated accessible stalls. If midnight cravings strike in Scarborough, note that the kitchen stays open until 1:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
