Located in the lobby of the Nomas Hotel in the Annex, Bellis is a versatile venue that transitions from a daytime café into a Japanese-Italian fusion cocktail and snack bar. The project is led by hospitality veterans Jeffrey Chu and chef Attila Baksa, who bring their extensive experience from local establishments like Guu Izakaya and 915 Dupont to this boutique hotel setting. The interior design features terracotta red walls, exposed brick, and forest green chairs, creating a chic, approachable atmosphere that serves as both a neighborhood destination and a functional lobby space for hotel guests.

For a first visit, expect a menu focused on Itameshi, a style of Japanese-Italian fusion that emphasizes seasonal ingredients and technique. Signature dishes include the Bellis Rigatoni, which incorporates Hatcho miso for added depth, and the Toma-Toast, a bruschetta variation featuring ginger-and-soy-marinated Campari tomatoes with yuzu-whipped ricotta and shiso. The drink program is designed to complement the food, offering coffee during the day and a selection of cocktails in the evening. The space is well-suited for various occasions, ranging from casual coffee breaks and after-work drinks to intimate date nights.
