Bagel &

What is Bagel &? Tucked into the PATH concourse beneath 120 Adelaide Street West in the Yonge-Bay Corridor, Bagel & is a reliable weekday staple for Financial District office workers chasing honest, freshly baked carbs. The setup is pure fast-casual utility, revolving around an efficient service counter with limited informal indoor seating tailored to quick morning pickups rather than lingering meals. Unlike Toronto's dense Montreal-style spots, this bakery focuses on big, pillowy bagels built to handle generous spreads and hefty sandwich proteins.

Bagel & Menu & What to Order The counter serves oversized, fluffy bagels with a tight crust and a tender crumb, alongside a rotating case of flavored cream cheese schmears. The cult order is the Canadian bagel sandwich, an unlikely but deeply satisfying combination of rich tuna salad and crisp bacon stacked on a toasted everything bagel. Purists should lean into the classic smoked salmon draped over a thick layer of plain cream cheese, or grab a straightforward toasted bagel with chive spread for one of the most wallet-friendly breakfasts in the core.

Know Before You Go It is strictly a walk-in, grab-and-go operation that operates solely during the corporate grind, running Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Expect a fast-moving queue during the 8:00 a.m. coffee rush and the noon lunch crunch. The quickest approach is via the underground PATH connection from St. Andrew or King subway stations, keeping you dry and caffeinated without heading above ground.
