What is Arthubs? Occupying 443 Lakeshore Avenue on Toronto Island, Arthubs operates Artscape Gibraltar Point—a tranquil, non-profit arts centre and beachfront gathering complex rather than a conventional restaurant. Set against 46 acres of parkland and sandy shoreline, the layout centres on artist residency studios alongside the Beacon Room and Fireplace Room, both opening onto pastoral lakeside lawns. Without a public dining room, patio bar, or walk-in tables, the entire property is configured exclusively for creative residencies, workshops, and private celebrations.

Arthubs Menu & What to Order Arthubs does not operate an à la carte public kitchen, meaning there is no daily food menu or regular culinary service for day-trippers. The venue instead features a licensed commercial prep kitchen reserved entirely for third-party caterers booked for weddings, retreats, and festivals. Organizers collaborate with off-site Toronto caterers to curate bespoke multi-course dinners, family-style Ontario seasonal menus, and full bar packages. For those attending an organized function here, the food and beverage program is customized specifically to the individual event.

Know Before You Go Do not make the trek across the harbour expecting walk-in dining or table reservations, as entry is reserved for registered artists and booked event guests. Transit requires taking the Toronto Island ferry to Hanlan's Point or Centre Island, followed by a scenic walk or bike ride south to Gibraltar Point. ArtHubs maintains standard administrative office hours on weekdays, while authorized private evening events conclude by 12:00 a.m.
