It is a no-frills, East Coast-influenced operation that manages to serve classic breakfast fare alongside one of the city's most ambitious plant-based sandwich menus.

Am Bagel Menu & What to Order The house benchmark is 'The AM', stacking a double egg, melted sharp havarti, and crisp bacon onto a fresh Gryfe's bagel. Vegans are remarkably well-catered to here: 'The VAM' swaps in a chickpea 'egg' patty, vegan cheddar, and house-made sausage, while 'The East Coaster' turns Halifax donair flavours entirely plant-based. Grab a cup of Sam James drip coffee for the walk, and do not leave without a vegan Nova Scotia Oatcake or a jar of house Penny Candy Jam.

Know Before You Go Everything is walk-in counter service, so anticipate steady sidewalk queues on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10:00 a.m. onwards.
