Operating out of a commercial kitchen hub at 6464 Yonge Street in North York, Albi Sushi foregoes the traditional sit-down restaurant format in favour of pre-ordered catering, festival pop-ups, and curbside pickup. Founded in 2021 by chef Albert De La Cruz, who brings nearly two decades of sushi-making experience to the table, the project reimagines Japanese technique through playful, street-food-inspired formats. There is no dining room, bar, or patio here—every order is crafted specifically for takeaway spreads, private events, and outdoor gatherings.

Albi Sushi Menu & What to Order De La Cruz leans into punchy fusion, loading handheld sushi tacos and golden deep-fried rolls with vibrant house-made sauces and pristine cuts of fish. Sprawling sushi platters and build-your-own poke bowls come textured with crunchy eel sauce taro curls, bright mango salsa, and earthy turmeric almonds. For events and festival appearances, the crowd favourite remains sushi on a stick, which delivers bold maki flavours in a fun, completely portable format.

Designated pickups are arranged near Yonge and Steeles, easily reached by bus routes heading north from Finch Station with convenient lot parking for handoffs.
