Ajwa Pizza

What is Ajwa Pizza? Tucked into a strip plaza at 25 Overlea Boulevard in Thorncliffe Park, Ajwa Pizza (also known as Ajwa Pizza n Grill) is a dependable, no-frills neighbourhood counter devoted entirely to 100% halal pies and fried chicken wings. The operation is built around high-volume takeout and delivery, featuring a minimalist order counter, bright overhead lighting, and minimal casual seating for quick walk-in bites. It functions as an essential late-night staple and family takeout fixture for East York locals.

Ajwa Pizza Menu & What to Order The kitchen specializes in South Asian-inspired specialty pies with hand-stretched crusts alongside traditional pizzeria classics, all prepared with certified halal meats. Standout orders include the richly spiced Butter Chicken Pizza, the fiery Tandoori Chicken Pizza loaded with green peppers and onions, and the Philly Cheese Steak Pizza layered with grilled beef and creamy sauce. Crispy halal chicken wings—tossed in sauces like honey garlic or hot—and stone-baked calzones round out the offerings.

Know Before You Go This is strictly a walk-in, call-ahead, or delivery operation; reservations are neither taken nor necessary. Dinner rushes between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. can lead to a 15-to-20-minute pickup wait, making phone orders the smartest strategy. Free strip-mall surface parking is readily available right out front, and the kitchen stays open until midnight on weekdays and 1:00 a.m. on weekends.
