Adams

What is Adams? Stationed along Victoria Park Avenue, Adams (also operating as Adam's Diner) is an independent comfort-food institution built for late-night cravings and hearty casual dining. The interior trades typical sports bar tropes for a clean, alcohol-free diner setting fitted with classic booth seating, tables, and flat-screen TVs broadcasting live matches. It serves as a relaxed neighbourhood fixture catering to families, sports fans, and shift workers seeking generous halal fare.

Adams Menu & What to Order The extensive kitchen lineup focuses on 100% halal diner classics, ranging from thick, hand-pressed beef burgers to towering poutines and over thirty wing sauce flavours. Standouts include the Adam's Ultimate Burger—served decadent-style between two grilled cheese sandwiches—and the tender shaved Philly cheesesteak finished with melted cheddar and grilled peppers. Poutine lovers should order the fiery Jerk Chicken Poutine or Boneless Wing Poutine, paired with a thick Oreo shake or specialty mocktail.

Know Before You Go Seating is entirely walk-in only, with peak rushes hitting during major televised sports matches and between midnight and 3:00 a.m. on weekends. Free plaza parking is available directly out front, and the Victoria Park bus route stops immediately nearby. Keep in mind that while the kitchen stays open until 4:00 a.m. nearly every day of the week, the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays.
