Active Kids Zone

What is Active Kids Zone? Set along an industrial stretch of Alness Street in York University Heights, Active Kids Zone is an expansive 11,000-square-foot recreational complex built squarely for the under-12 crowd. The fully air-conditioned space splits across a multi-tier indoor play structure, a full-sized gymnasium, an interactive Pixel Games floor, and three private celebration rooms. Seating is purely functional, arranged around private party tables and spectator benches built to keep energetic groups organized.

Active Kids Zone Menu & What to Order The kitchen operates strictly as an event-catering program geared toward birthday bashes, camp lunches, and school outings rather than standard table service. Classic party pizza and steamed all-beef hot dogs anchor the savory offerings alongside warm bags of buttered popcorn. Cool refreshments center on bright, icy fruit-flavoured Icees, while custom-printed photo cookies and classic birthday cakes take center stage for dessert. The entire facility operates on a strictly nut-free policy, giving allergy-conscious parents genuine peace of mind.

Know Before You Go Casual drop-in play is limited and typically closes during peak summer and holiday camp periods, so advance booking is mandatory for weekend parties and weekday camps. Free on-site surface parking sits right outside the building, and transit riders can access the venue via the 36 Finch West bus from Finch West subway station. Operating hours are strictly tied to confirmed camp schedules, group visits, and private party slots.
