A Sushi

What is A Sushi? Situated inside the commercial concourse at 4750 Yonge Street in North York, A Sushi is an unassuming, utilitarian counter designed for speed, precision, and reliable Japanese staples. The compact footprint is stripped of sit-down fanfare, functioning primarily as an efficient launchpad for brisk takeout orders and delivery couriers. There are no expansive dining rooms or plush booths here; this is an essential grab-and-go pitstop catering to neighbourhood condo dwellers and desk workers along the Yonge-Sheppard corridor.

A Sushi Menu & What to Order The kitchen zeroes in on crowd-pleasing maki, bento-style combinations, and lightly seared nigiri. The standout is the Torch Salmon Box, where aburi-style salmon receives a hit of open flame to coax out smoky, buttery richness over seasoned sushi rice. Roll enthusiasts gravitate toward the Red Dragon Roll and the crunch-heavy Dynamite Roll, both stacked generously with crisp tempura prawn and savory sauces, while the Sushi Special Set 3 delivers an honest, well-portioned variety for midday cravings.

Know Before You Go This is strictly an order-ahead or walk-in pickup joint, so reservations are a non-factor. Located right by the Sheppard-Yonge subway station, it is effortlessly accessible via transit, whereas underground complex parking can get congested around peak lunch and dinner runs. The kitchen operates continuously from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. seven days a week, making it a handy bet for quick weeknight sustenance.
