700 Cafe

What is 700 Cafe? Operating out of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre at 255 Front Street West, 700 Cafe functions as a utilitarian, quick-service counter catering to conference-goers and downtown workers needing a rapid midday bite. The setup leans strictly into convention centre cafeteria reality, offering functional open seating and grab-and-go efficiency rather than lingering dining room atmosphere. Its kitchen takes an eclectic international comfort approach, bridging casual Italian pastas, Asian noodles, and classic diner handhelds under one roof.

700 Cafe Menu & What to Order Expect a globe-trotting lunch lineup where a crisp 700 Café Chicken Burger shares real estate with a savoury Grilled Salmon Donburi. Seafood seekers gravitate toward the Shanghai Noodle with Seabass, while the signature 700 Café Sandwich stacks chicken ham, melted cheese, sliced tomato, and peppery arugula with pesto mayo on toasted white bread alongside hot fries. If you are looking for simple carb comfort before an afternoon panel, the Spaghetti Pomodoro covers the bases at an accessible value-lunch price point.

Know Before You Go Service is counter-order and walk-in only, with open hall seating that fills quickly during major conference lunch breaks. Hours historically hinge on active convention schedules and focus almost exclusively on a tight midday window from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Skip driving into Front Street gridlock and take the TTC to Union Station, following the covered SkyWalk directly into the MTCC complex.
