About

Winterlicious transforms Toronto's brutal January into something worth celebrating. Over 200 restaurants across the city offer prix fixe lunch and dinner menus at three price tiers, from neighbourhood gems to white-tablecloth splurges. It's the closest thing Toronto has to a city-wide food holiday — and it's been running since 2003.

What to Expect

Two weeks of prix fixe menus at lunch ($23-$33) and dinner ($33-$53). Restaurants range from casual to fine dining. Expect packed dining rooms at popular spots, especially on weekends.

Pro Tips

Don't just go for the big names. The real gems are mid-range neighbourhood restaurants that put together ambitious menus to attract new regulars. Also: lunch menus are often identical to dinner at a lower price point.

Getting There

Restaurants are scattered city-wide. Plan your route by neighbourhood to hit 2-3 in one evening. TTC subway gets you to most restaurant clusters.
