About

Toronto Dragon Festival is an annual three-day cultural festival at Nathan Phillips Square. It centres Chinese living heritage—including dragon, lion and folk dance—within a broader multicultural program of performances, food, fashion, visual spectacles and interactive exhibits. It is separate from the Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival held at Centre Island.

What to Expect

Three free days of stage performances, high-pole lion and dragon dance, Asian street food, cultural booths, fashion and evening light and water shows at Nathan Phillips Square.

Pro Tips

Check the official performance schedule before leaving, bring sun protection for the exposed square and use the indoor City Hall washrooms when available.

Getting There

Nathan Phillips Square is at 100 Queen Street West. Queen and Osgoode stations are both a short walk away; driving is rarely worthwhile during a busy festival weekend.
