The parade route north of College is less packed than the southern stretch. For the best parade experience without the crush, set up near Bloor and Yonge. Church Street itself is wall-to-wall — fun but intense.

About

Pride Toronto is one of the largest Pride celebrations in the world, and it's woven into the fabric of the city. The month-long programming builds to Pride Weekend with the massive Pride Parade down Yonge Street, the Trans March, the Dyke March, and non-stop stages and street festivals. Whether you're part of the community or an ally, it's an unmissable Toronto experience.

What to Expect

Month of programming culminating in Pride Weekend. The parade draws 1M+ spectators. Street closures across Church-Wellesley, Yonge, and surrounding areas. Multiple stages with live music, drag performances, and community programming.

Pro Tips

Go to the smaller events during Pride Month (film screenings, art shows, community gatherings) for a richer experience beyond the parade. Parade day itself: arrive early, bring water and sunscreen, and expect to be on your feet for hours.

Getting There

TTC subway to Wellesley, Bloor-Yonge, or College. Expect extremely crowded platforms on parade day. Walking and cycling are the best options for getting around the festival zone.
