About
Canada Blooms (the country's largest flower and garden festival) and the National Home Show merge every March at Enercare Centre for a massive celebration of home, garden, and design. Millions of square feet of show gardens, renovation exhibitors, celebrity designer talks, and floral displays transform the convention centre into an indoor spring oasis while Toronto is still frozen solid.
What to Expect
Huge indoor event with two halves: the garden festival features elaborate show gardens, floral competitions, and gardening workshops; the home show has hundreds of renovation and design exhibitors, live demos, and celebrity speakers.
Pro Tips
Buy advance tickets online to save $5. Wear comfortable shoes — the show floor is enormous. Go on a Friday to avoid weekend crowds. The garden judging happens opening day if you want to see the freshest displays.
Getting There
TTC to Exhibition GO station, then walk. Or take the 509 streetcar. Parking is available at Enercare Centre but fills up on weekends — transit is the move.
