About

The Festival of South Asia celebrates the vibrant culture of Toronto's South Asian community along the Gerrard India Bazaar. Bollywood and bhangra dance, live music, henna, a cricket pitch, and some of the best South Asian street food in the city. The neighbourhood's restaurants go all out.

What to Expect

A two-day street festival. Multiple stages with dance performances, live music, vendor booths, and food from the neighbourhood's restaurants. Very colourful and energetic.

Pro Tips

Wear comfortable shoes — the festival stretches a long way. Try restaurants you haven't been to before; many offer festival-only specials. The henna artists are popular, so get in line early.

Getting There

Gerrard Street East between Greenwood and Coxwell. Take the 506 streetcar or drive — there's parking on side streets.
