About

One of the largest dragon boat festivals in North America brings racing, cultural performances, food vendors, and community programming to Centre Island. The races are exciting to watch, the setting is gorgeous, and the whole thing has a relaxed summer-day vibe.

What to Expect

Full day of dragon boat racing on the lagoon, cultural performances, food vendors, and community activities. Outdoor event on Centre Island.

Pro Tips

Bring sunscreen, water, a blanket, and cash. Check the race schedule and try to catch the finals in the afternoon — the energy is electric.

Getting There

Ferry from Jack Layton Terminal to Centre Island. Pre-buy ferry tickets online. TTC to Union Station, then walk or streetcar to the terminal. Do NOT plan to drive — parking near the terminal is a nightmare.
