The Distillery Winter Village (formerly Toronto Christmas Market) transforms the Distillery District's cobblestone streets into a European-style holiday wonderland. Artisan vendors, mulled wine, holiday treats, a towering Christmas tree, and nightly entertainment. It's become one of Toronto's most popular holiday traditions, drawing massive weekend crowds.
What to Expect
Five weeks of holiday market programming. 75+ vendor booths, food and drink, nightly entertainment. Weekend crowds are extremely heavy. The Distillery streets are fully decorated.
Pro Tips
Budget for spending — mulled wine ($12), food ($10-20), gifts ($20+), and possible admission ($8-10 weekends). Dress very warm — you'll be outside the entire time. Go at least once at night for the full lit-up experience.
Getting There
504 King streetcar to Parliament, then walk south. Or 172 Cherry Street bus from Union. Paid parking available in the area but fills quickly on weekends.
